A Weighty Weekend: July 25-27, 2014

When the going becomes tough, the tough......

.....soak up warmth from the sun to warm the mind up to the possibilities of tomorrow.

......appreciate a blue sky, green grass and a place to call home filled with people who make it just that.

......sink their teeth into something sweeter.

.......visit an old friend (even if they don't talk, it's far better to stand in silence together than to stand alone).

Finally, when the going becomes tough, the tough should not turn away.....because at one point or another we begin to discover that life has left us a key under the doormat of a closed door that leads to the promises of tomorrow–––just don't turn away.

We forget to look around. We forget that happiness, love and value can be found on mere whims.

Snap of the Day will be a collection of these whims––moments taken out of time. Words and images  that will hopefully inspire us all to slow down, reel in and savor life.

An early evening by the water with the sun still high and the rippling tide
